They might be little, but their voices are BIG!! With everything that is going wrong in the world today, we can count on our kids to spark joy and remind us that there is HOPE.

Their Nanas and Tatas have shared their stories and journeys with them and I’ve reminded them how lucky they are; the sacrifices that were made before them was so they can have the life they have now—-free of worry and full of promise for a bright future.

Haven’t shown my face around here in a while, and wanted to provide evidence that I don’t always go bare face and have my hair up in a bun. The athleisure life is my jam 🙃

More importantly, wanted to remind everyone of the “why” behind this fun adventure. It’s an idea that came to life for my little ones, and has bloomed into a business that has allowed me to be home with them more, attend all the practices, games, and play dates their little hearts desire. It’s the balance my heart always needed.

I’ve shared how we started with our 1 cart, but I’ve never told you about our adventure south of the border to get the rest 🙃

Basically had my cousin in Mexico order them…technically her friend’s tia’s husband’s neighbor—-or something like that. They were shipped to a random warehouse in Tijuana [not sketchy at all 😅] to which I dragged my hubby out to. Borrowed my dad’s truck and had to replace 3 tires after one popped on the way there. We got lost in TJ looking for this -not-sketchy-warehouse…and then played Tetris with the carts trying to fit them in our truck. We were questioned at the border as to why the 4 carts—-but my husband just told the agent his wife is crazy over the top with parties and is having a Paleta themed birthday for our kid. Let us pass right through with an “ahhh 🤜🏻👍🏻” of solidarity for him.

It was crazy, but I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Here we are 6 carts later and growing 💕

I’ve shared my thoughts on “Collabs” and when they make sense to join. This one was definitely one of the GOOD ones!

•Exposure to a network of genuine followers ✔️
•Shared talents ✔️
•Quality content ✔️

This one in particular I loved because it pushed my creative boundaries. There’s times I have ideas, but just don’t follow through with them because 🤷🏼‍♀️
Elicia had Paletas with edible flowers on her vision board…I had never tried making them before, but this gave me the extra little nudge I needed. And voila! These mini champagne n flower Paletas on custom acrylic sticks turned amazing….and pretty darn cute!

Feliz Navidad and a very Happy New Year to you all my friends!

As things around us continue to change and get weird, find your constant. Whether it’s your family, friends, pet, work, favorite book or martini—-no one is judging. It’s been the longest 2020 of our lives, but somehow still at lighting speed🤪 I look at how big my babies have gotten and always wish for time to slow down. It never does, so make the best of it. 💖

Going to be more intentional with my time for 2022, so look out for some big changes 🙌🏻 ✨✨✨✨
