The listings of Turkish wines continues in prestigious UK retail stores!
The listings of Turkish wines started with M&S in 2012 continue to grow. Last year M&S started with one Turkish red and one white; Pamukkale Trio Red and Sevilen Sauvignon Blanc. Trio Red became the bestselling wine in Eastern Mediterranean Wines category and Sevilen Sauvignon Blanc was selected as “one of the top 100+ whites” by Jancis Robinson MW. M&S decided to increase its Turkish wine to four wines in 2013 and soon you will be able to find them all on the shelves; They will be; 1 white, a blend of one international and indigenous grape “Pamukkale Cloud Castle Narince & Sauvignon Blanc 2012” and one rose from indigenous grape “ Sevilen R Rose Kalecik Karasi 2012”. And two reds; one varietal wine from a native grape “Sevilen Okuzgozu 2012” and one blend between international and native grapes; “Pamukkale Trio Red 2012”.
These developments receive the attention of major media in UK such as the Guardian and the Times. Here is the latest news in Times newspaper with 400,000 daily readers.
