Happy birthday Sir, you're one of kind.
It's funny, you meet some high profile people and you're let down, realizing that everything you saw was due to a team of people polishing and filtering that persons image ... and then you meet people such as Louie Simmons. You realize that the media only caught a glimpse of the genius, generosity and humility of this person. He reminds me of every great coach I had. You could learn 10 years knowledge sitting at a bench press with him for 10 minutes, at no charge. Good luck paying for a meal too.
I know many have met Louie. I am just another fan that he offered advice (freely) on my bar when I started and the obstacles in this business. I will always appreciate the time and wisdom he gave freely.
The Arnold before he passed, I detoured our team by Westside so Boomer Mays and my oldest daughter could meet him. I told my daughter that I understand that you dont know who Louie Simmons is, but there will never be another like him. He was unable to meet. Weeks later I heard he passed.
