Rolling into June with one of my favorite calendar images. 🎲

This scene was built from 9 separate photos, combining the best expressions from every player into a single image where everyone gets their moment. If you've ever wanted to try D&D, Cemetery Pulp's Tuesday night group is one of the most welcoming around.

Last October, I had the honor of traveling to Washington, D.C. with a group of veterans through Honor Flight Southern Nevada, witnessing stories and moments I’ll never forget.

This Memorial Day, I’m thinking of the men and women who gave everything for our country, and the veterans who continue to carry those memories with them every day. Grateful to have documented even a small part of their journey. 🇺🇸

Built to feel bold, energetic and instantly recognizable, this Fishing for Free Play logo combines classic outdoor fishing elements with a layered badge shape, oversized typography and jumping fish illustration create movement and excitement. While the sunset backdrop and pine trees help reinforce the outdoor theme. The angled text adds energy, making the promotion feel active and competitive rather than static.

Color wise, the deep navy keeps it grounded, while the orange sunset and teal accents add contrast and help key elements stand out. The end result is a logo that feels playful, adventurous and attention grabbing. Designed to hook guests at first glance.

There is a difference between a photo and a portrait.

This shot of a professional sword swallower was featured in the Women In Focus Black & White gallery exhibition. It's also a piece that forced me to start creating for myself again.

On Substack, I’m breaking down the "why" behind this image:
⚔️ What went into setting up for this portrait.
⚔️ How design hierarchy dictates where the viewer’s eye lands first
⚔️ The story of capturing this for the gallery show

If you want to see the Pixels behind the Portraits, the full breakdown is live, leave a comment and I'll share the link with you.

A moment of silent reflection. For Brittney, we shifted the lighting mid-session, using only the edge light to pull out the drama. The white cake serves as a final sharp contrast to the dark textures of the background as we closed out this chapter of the shoot, and her 20s.

I post a lot of photography, but graphic design is actually what led me here in the first place. Design came before the camera, and now I’m lucky enough to do both. Branding and logo work have always been one of my favorite parts of the process. Building a visual identity from nothing and finding the right look for a campaign, brand or promo is always a fun challenge.

This logo was created for “Win Bally’s $1 Million” casino promotion, which will run for two months instead of the usual one. I wanted the design to pull from visual elements associated with money and high-stakes gaming, while keeping the palette monochromatic to reinforce that theme without overcomplicating it. The goal was to create something bold, recognizable and promotional while still feeling polished and cohesive. This design will be used on a large kiosk for the game, billboards and digital screens.

Opened in 1829, Eastern State Penitentiary was designed around total solitary confinement.

Each cell had a skylight, God’s light, intended to inspire penitence. What began as progressive quickly became something far more complicated.

Some people are born into softness. Others learn to make spectacle out of survival.

Destiny doesn’t flinch. Not from the weight of expectation, not from the sting of being watched and certainly not from the sharp edge of what most would turn away from. A mousetrap pressed to her tongue tension, risk, control. A moment that lives between pain and power.

In the world of sideshow, the line between vulnerability and strength disappears. What looks dangerous becomes deliberate. What feels impossible becomes performance.

She’s forging her own path, on her own terms. Focused, capable & driven in a way that doesn’t ask for permission.

This piece is about more than shock. It’s about ownership. About choosing to hold the thing that could hurt you and making it yours.

May belongs to Destiny, and she’s only getting started.
