It is with a heavy heart, and after MUCH discussion, that we have decided to call off the Tyranena Oktoberfest Bike Ride indefinitely.

We had a good run... 17 years of awesome riders, amazing volunteers and some really great times for a good cause!

However, two years of COVID and road construction were not kind to the numbers and, with low registrations and substantially increased costs on top of shortages in staffing, we just could not proceed with a higher priced yet possibly lower quality event. That's not our style!

For those that registered, we will offer a full refund shortly. Please reach out if you have not received your credit by the end of August.

We hope that you will continue to bike Jefferson County roads and trails and make Tyranena Brewing Company one of your Lake Mills' destinations whenever possible! (Hey, we’re opening a new location on Main Street this fall that you simply MUST visit!)

And we will still be providing live entertainment in our existing Beer Garden and, hopefully, a food truck on Saturday, September 17, if anyone wants to brave the roads solo and stop by the brewery when you’re through. We’ll keep the beer cold for you! The routes we had planned (though unsupported) will remain posted on the ride website through September.

Online registration for 2022 Tyranena Oktoberfest Bike Ride starts on May 23rd 2022. Online registration ends September 13th 2022.

UPDATE: APRIL 2021
Due to various bridges undergoing reconstruction on all routes and ongoing difficulties stemming from COVID19, unfortunately, the 2021 Tyranena Oktoberfest Bike Ride is canceled.

We hope to reassess the situation for 2022.

COVID-19 UPDATE FOR 2020...

Albeit it a difficult one, we have made the decision to cancel the Tyranena Oktoberfest Bike Ride for 2020. Those that have already registered will receive a full refund of their fees. (If you do not see the refund by July 8, 2020, please email [email protected] so we can look into the matter further.)

We are extremely disappointed to have to make this call... but, while we understand this is a much needed fundraiser for local charities, we simply cannot see a way to safely proceed with the ride and offer a similar experience while still allowing for appropriate physical distancing and safety. So, at this time, we feel this is the only responsible course of action. {{SAD PANDA}}
