Been seeing a lot of disturbing posts lately about some bad conversions. As a former RCA and someone who currently has a family member in the business, my best advice is stay diligent with your research of who you’re putting your life on the line with.
Plenty of good reputable companies out there. If i can’t get to you as soon as you like, please don’t hesitate to ask for a honest referral. These companies are solid

Everyone knows I despise cables but that’s because I’ve been in business for nine years and I have someone here at least once a week who has had cables break and scared them to death or caused an accident. The fact is they all break sooner or later.
🚨I’ve been in business 9 years and ZERO conversion failures or have to replace any parts. You’ll drive your vehicle, maintenance free, until your car quits or you quit… that’s a proven fact!
Now if I had a vehicle myself that could only be converted with cables then there’s only one company I would trust.
Pedal Pros
Dale is a professional fabricator and a good person and businessman. Now I’ll be honest, I have removed his conversions because some people had problems with it but it is a rare occasions and I only hear of it happening every once in a while. Dale will stand behind his cables and if you pay attention and properly keep an eye on them and switch them out when he suggest you’re in better hands than ANY and ALL other garbage out there.
The one thing about Pedal pros is he does have guys who buy his kits and claim to be apart of his company. Dale does not have any additional locations or employees outside of his location. he has some people that install his kits in other states. Just be aware that these people are not associated with his company at all and are using his name and reputation to get you to use pedal pros to install your kit for a fee. Dale will verify that the fact.
Nothing wrong with that at all but one guy really pushes it like it’s his own and as if he has the experience or knowledge of conversions/fabrication in general. That guy also has tried to tell people my conversions “won’t be approved by the USPS…” that is a complete lie and a shady attempt to steal business. He has zero knowledge of nothing more that what he can read on Dales Installation instructions.
On the other hand, I will also give you a heads up with the companies in which I know for a fact are doing bad business.
A lot of “newbies and pop up companies” but just do your research and verify their experience or shoot me a DM.
Being a rural carrier is hard enough without having to worry about being safe or wasting your money on a death trap.
