BBQ FROM TIM AND SUSAN LEE!
The Public House is excited to bring you the next installment of our monthly Pop Up series. They are a way for the Public House to introduce our patrons to new chefs and different food styles; as well help foster a community around the food of Knoxville and beyond.
The Tim Lee 3 Facebook bio goes:
things that rock.
things that bark.
things that smoke.
We all know Tim and Susan Lee can smoke up the stage with their white-hot performances with their band Tim Lee 3, but how about what they can do with a smoker? That’s right, they are our next Sunday Supper chefs, Sunday September 28, 2014 from 5 - 9! They will be smoking the hell out of some pork butts, serving it up with cornbread waffles, raspberry chipotle BBQ sauce and a big ol’ side of jicama slaw.
This is going to be an amazing end of the summer/beginning of fall dinner. In honor of the general awesomeness of all this happening we will be featuring Schlitz in cans and $1 off Makers Mark, Susan’s favorite bourbon.
Call now for reservations, 865-2474344, reply to this email, or go to our website to contact us through the contact form. You know the drill, dinners sell out fast. You won’t want to miss this fun evening, September 28!
Tim Lee 3 was formed in 2006 by long-time guitarist/singer-songwriter Tim Lee (Windbreakers, Let's Active, Marti Jones, Swimming Pool Qs) and his wife, bassist/singer-songwriter Susan Bauer Lee. The Tim Lee 3 has released three full-length albums of straight-ahead roots rock with tinges of power-pop, psychedelia, country and blues, including the critically acclaimed "Devil's Rope," which was released in February 2013. In a glowing review of "Devil's Rope," Pop Matters referred to the band's "independent-minded, open-hearted rock and roll vision." They are currently working on the follow-up, "33 1/3" slated for a March 2015 release. For more information please visit www.timleethree.com.
