The Mimic amplifier has an output of just under 2 watts per channel, so it is most suited for small to medium size living rooms, bedrooms, dorm rooms, or offices. You will need high efficiency speakers to get good volume, we recommend 95db or higher speaker efficiency. This can range from small bookshelf to large floor standing speakers. Even though this amplifier is not high wattage don't think t
hat the bass will be lacking, with the right speaker placement the bass will be substantial. Our goal is to produce warm, detailed, beautiful sound, with the single ended triode configuration this is achieved. Machined from bar stock aluminum, the Mimic has a quality look and feel. We think this makes the Mimic unique compared to any amplifier in its class. And of course the Mimic is made in the USA!
