I judged a homebrew competition in Excelsior Springs today. Absolutely fell in love with these guys out of Independence! 3 beers on tap and 3 of the best beers I have ever drank. They had unbelievable merch and their beer, wow! If they ever get a page, get an invite to that garage because it is simply phenomenal! Wow is simply an understatement of what these guys are doing!

Flip The Record Brewing! I would put them up there with Alma Mader Brewery. Best of the best!!

I can say, I had a great night listening to great music, drinking great craft beer, even had a mix drink and shook Tom Riggs hand twice tonight!!! Ole Drew and Travis met me and nothing but laughs and music! Shamrock Winery is literally a mountain away from thinking your in the Rockies. Unreal!!!

I hear everyone’s complaint. I miss good music too! But I have two shows this weekend that are can’t miss and sure to have a good time.

Friday - Head to Excelsior Springs and check out Tom Riggs at 5 pm at Shamrock Winery! It is new and they do a great job.

Saturday - Head to Richmond and check out Cody Vanderau Band and Outlaw Jim and the Whiskey Benders! That’s a lineup you don’t want to miss!

I will gladly drink any free drink you guys buy me at both fine establishments! Hahaha. Jk. See you there!

If you are looking for some great music to start your pre-weekend activities off, B. Howard Crist will be playing some tunes tonight at Atlas Saloon in Excelsior Springs!!

If you have never been to Atlas Saloon, definitely worth the stop and if you have never heard Brice play, wow, change that tonight!!

Too be honest. I’m not a musician. Never will be. But when your buddies get up on stage and sing and shred with The Lowdown Drifters, life makes sense!! We have a lot of avenues open to keep doing what we are doing. Stay tuned!!! Big names coming and can’t wait to see what my dawgs do musically with them!!!
