Someone at the gym the other day told me—

“I’ll be having the worst day, then I see one of your posts. You are so inspiring.”

It’s a new compliment that I am still learning how to accept properly.
But The way her comment made my heart absolutely burst, is the sole reason why I decided it was time to share more of my journey.

If it’s one person, five people, or 6281969 of them.
Inspiration is the only goal here ✨
I believe God saved me to share his glory!

Cancer took a lot from me.
For a while, I think it took me, too.

Fitness wasn’t something I found before cancer.
It’s something I found because I survived it.

So when motivation disappears, I don’t.

I fought too damn hard to find this version of myself to ever stop choosing her. 🤍

Sometimes I wonder who I would’ve been if cancer had never happened.

And the truth is… I’m grateful I’ll never know.

Because cancer changed me.

It showed me how badly I wanted to live.
It taught me not to take this body for granted.
It made me curious about just how strong I could become.

And somewhere after surviving, I found her.

The woman who lifts heavy things.
Who pushes herself just to see if she can.
Who isn’t afraid of hard anymore because she’s already lived through harder.

Would I have become this version of myself without cancer?

Maybe.

But I don’t think so.

So yes… as crazy as it may sound, I’m grateful for my cancer.

Not because of what it took from me.

Because of what I chose to build from it. 💗💪🏼
