Northside Oktoberfest is celebrating 30 years with something for everyone! Here’s how you can experience the festival:

🍺 BrewFest | 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Our ticketed signature sampling experience featuring unlimited pours of more than 160 beers from 40+ regional and national vendors. Meet the brewers, discover new favorites and keep track of your samples on Untappd.

🥨 Bierhall | 12:00–8:00 p.m.
The Northside Oktoberfest general admission experience! Purchase a commemorative mug for just $5 at the event, then buy beer or wine from participating Northside businesses and enjoy neighborhood food, live music, contests, games and plenty of fall fun.

🥤 SodaFest | 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
A festival just for the kids, hosted by The Iowa Children's Museum! Kids can sample unlimited sodas for $5 and enjoy free, hands-on activities featuring creativity, movement, exploration and play.

🍺 SAVE-THE-DATE... Northside Oktoberfest is back!

We know it’s only July, but trust us, this is one date you’ll want on your calendar. We’re already counting down to one of Downtown Iowa City’s favorite fall traditions as Northside Oktoberfest returns on Saturday, September 26, celebrating 30 years of craft beer, great food, live music, and neighborhood fun.

🎟️ Tickets for Iowa City BrewFest, sponsored by Eastern Iowa Airport • CID, are on sale now and can be purchased at www.downtowniowacitymarket.com.

BrewFest is the centerpiece of the celebration, featuring unlimited samples from breweries, cideries, wineries, meaderies, kombucha makers, and other craft beverage producers, along with live entertainment, traditional Oktoberfest games, neighborhood food, and plenty of Bohemian spirit.

Northside Oktoberfest, sponsored by Johns Grocery, New Pioneer Co-op, & Bulltown Brewing, is free to attend and explore, but a BrewFest ticket is required to sample beverages from participating vendors. The Outdoor Bier Hall, SodaFest with The Iowa Children's Museum, live entertainment, contests, and more will return, with additional festival details coming later this summer.
