Windsor Park Neighborhood
Platted in the early to mid 1880’s, Windsor Park is considered one of Indianapolis’ first streetcar suburbs. Being located on the near eastside of downtown, our neighborhood is just minutes away from all that Indianapolis has to offer. Home to a historic Carnegie Library, the Prosser Home, the Thompson-Mesker Cottage, the Whittier School, The Pogue’s Run Trail and Spades Park (part of the historic George Kessler Park & Boulevard System). WiPa is also home to a growing number of local businesses: The CCIC, 8th Day Distillery, Centerpoint Brewing, Indy Artsy, Indiana Writer’s Center, Onyx Exchange, Beholder (April 2018), The Mayfair Taproom (coming 2018!), Sunday Afternoon Housewife, The Windsor Theater Project (coming 2019!) and the Ruckus Makers Space. Windsor Park is packed with history and new experiences. Check out windsorparkindy.com for more information.
