It is with great sadness that we share the obituary and service information for our fellow Indianapolis Hiking Club member and dear friend, Diana Sullivan.

Diana shared many miles, conversations, laughs, and wonderful memories with members of our hiking community. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and hiking alongside her.

For those who would like to pay their respects and support Diana’s family, her obituary below includes information regarding the visitation and funeral services.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Diana’s family, friends, and everyone in the Indianapolis Hiking Club whose lives she touched. May the many memories we shared with Diana remain with us on the trails and in our hearts.

* 9/10/26 - Indianapolis Hiking Club General Assembly

What a great day of friendship, fellowship, and looking ahead to another exciting year with the Indianapolis Hiking Club!

Our General Assembly brought members together as we welcomed our new officers and appointed officers, recognized our existing board members, and celebrated the many people who volunteer their time to keep our club going strong.

We also enjoyed a wonderful presentation titled “Indiana State Parks: Places to Enjoy for Generations” by Emilie Sweet, an Interpretive Naturalist at Fort Harrison State Park.

It’s always special to see so many hiking friends gathered in one place—not just sharing miles on the trails, but sharing ideas, laughter, and a love for the outdoors.

Here’s to a new club year filled with new adventures, familiar trails, new friendships, and many more miles together!
