We’re looking for local Ford Explorers in the Houston area to let us borrow their vehicle for a couple hours for some projects. We need the car at our physical shop location. In exchange for the use of your vehicle, you get to keep the new hardware!

1. A 2020-2024 Ford Explorer ST for a set of CVF downpipes

2. A 2020-2026 Ford Explorer 2.3L EcoBoost (All-Wheel Drive) for an AWR mount installation

She is officially back up and running.

Getting the The Leaders in EcoBoost Performance built motor back where it belongs and hearing her idle out of the garage feels incredible.
I genuinely can’t wait to see what this setup is going to do this go-around.

35 PSI: 1 | Stock Motor: 0 💣

We went into this knowing full well the factory engine wasn’t going to make it out alive, but testing the limits of the stock block is part of the game.

Safe to say we found the limit. Oil pan is full of forbidden metal cereal, including a valve that migrated all the way down. RIP stock motor—now time to put in the EMS built motor!

Shoutout to Joshua Calderon for bringing in his clean Focus ST!

He came in for a fresh wheel bearing, but once we had the assembly torn down, we caught a bent ball joint bolt hiding in there.
Got the new bolt installed and everything torqued down so he’s back on the road safely with total peace of mind.
