Yesterday we spent a leisurely afternoon at The Hideout Brewing Company on our first kid-friendly Great Lakes Drinkers visit! We tried 15 of their large selection of beers and sat outside on their fenced-in back patio. It was a perfect place for the kids to play while we sampled some great & interesting beers!

Last week we celebrated Mike's birthday at White Flame Brewing Co. in Hudsonville by sampling some delicious beer & saving the world from deadly diseases (just in the knick of time)! White Flame has some great beer! We were first there two years ago during a brewery tour for Mike's 40th & had some of the best scotch ales we've ever had. This time there was no scotch, but we did sample 10 other beers & ended up with a variety of favorites!

It's hard to imagine a more perfect day! Not only did we meet up with two good friends at the Bernie Sanders rally at EMU, but we enjoyed some all around great beer & delicious food at Arbor Brewing Company in Ann Arbor before heading back to GR! Our favorite beer was unanimous - Big Ben House Mild Pale Ale.

After a 3 year hiatus we've decided to revive Great Lakes Drinkers! Our first official brewery back at it - Railtown Brewing Company in Dutton with our long lost friends Fred & Jackie! We all agreed our favorite of their beers is their Bike Ride Blonde.
