Chef D, the creative genius behind One Love Specialty Food & Beverages, graduate from CIA (Culinary Institute of America), and personal chef/caterer to the stars, has come back to his Texas roots to bring his unique brand of culinary skills to Houston.

In addition to being a native Texan, Chef D is a Navy Veteran and has an Ivy League education in culinary arts from CIA.

Chef D has been a personal chef and caterer to such personalities such as shoe designed Kenneth Cole, Steven Tyler of Aerosmith and Former First Lady Hilary Clinton to name a few.

On Tuesday, January 6th, Cafe du Bois will be hosting a fundraiser for the Miss Northeast Houston Scholarship Pageant which is a local preliminary to the Miss Texas Pageant.

A portion of the day's sales will go to the scholarship program, so please come for lunch or dinner and help support these young women and this great program.

Danette McMahon will be performing that evening if you wish to dine and enjoy live music, too.
