First batch in the books. Called "Pappy's back porch". It will be a Black Cherry Bourbon Vanilla Stout. The reason for the name is he help me out a little and we made it on the back porch. It's OG was 1.050.

So I know it has been forever, but settling has taken longer than expected. I am happy to announce the next weekend I will be starting a Citris IPA using Texas Ruby Red Grapefruits. This will only be a one gallon run to test the product. I will update more as it progress because I will need drinkers!

So thank you for all the support!! I am glad you all have some faith. I have 3 recipes ready to go when I get home. I will be taking a few days leave before I report to Ft Hood during which I will brew as much as possible. My first few batches I will be giving to you all at no cost, I'll need the feedback. I look forward to the upcoming months. When the beers are done I'll post it up, I will also pay for shipping to any people interested outside local area.
