Wow! What a week it was! We received 39 inches of snow in a week here in Keweenaw County! We have enjoyed seeing many “repeat” customers and meeting so many new riders to the area!

Please stop in to warm up, grab a beverage, snack or pizza and of course fuel up for the rest of your ride! We look forward to seeing you!

W🤩W! What a great week it has been here on Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula!

It is awesome to hear all of the riders that stop in and say how amazing the trail conditions are! The Keweenaw Snowmobile Club has been out grooming around the clock to keep the trails flat for riders!

KSC Board President Ryan LaPorte was one of the Groomer Operators out this morning helping provide such good trails. Chad VanBennekom snapped this photo when they came by! Thanks Chad!

A huge thank you to ALL of the dedicated Groomer Operators and everyone with the club helping to make the Keweenaw an awesome place to ride!

Temporary trail closure today to High Rock Bay.

Note: only a small section of Trail 134 is closed

Reminder!

Temporary Trail Closure (note: only a small section of Trail 134 is closed - you can still access the main Trail 134 from Copper Harbor, Michigan to the Trail 3 intersection - see map photo)

🛑 ✋ Trail 134 that leads to High Rock Bay from the junction of 134, as shown on the map below, will be closed TODAY - Saturday January 8th until Sunday January 9th. The Groomer Operators will be fixing the section of trail that has the open creek running through it.

The Keweenaw Snowmobile Club apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.

Great news!

Great news 👏

‼️Update to the previous information of the Portage Lake Lift Bridge possibly needing to be closed to snowmobile crossing as of a March 1st on Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula…..

The lift bridge should be passable (once opened) until March 21st. We did get with State Representative Greg Markkanen’s office and he was able to delay MDOT’s work on the bridge back this Spring. So MDOT will not close the bridge down to snowmobiling until March 21st (still contingent on the weather though if Spring happens to come early)

Thank you to all who worked to extend this date….. it is greatly appreciated! ‼️
