Fridays are insanity. We do about 60-100 pizzas in a matter of 3-4 hours, and you guys are the most patient people in the world. This Friday was even more crazy because I had to leave my new guy (Rook) to fend for himself because I got pulled away for a tow truck crash call (my real job), smack dab in the middle of the Friday dinner rush. We turn off/throttle online orders when we get a bunch of orders at once, so it doesn’t push your pickup times to the moon. So if you tried to order online and couldn’t, that’s why that happened. “Something, something, growing pains, something, something, excuse, excuse…..” regardless of how slow and lame it is when you order on Fridays, we appreciate you sticking with us. We’ll see you again next week, for some awesome conversations, and some slightly above average pizza.

If you’re a Hollis resident don’t forget to sign the citizens petition to ban data centers and Amazon facilities in town. Gorham just started a new one to try and ban uses that produce over 1500 vehicle trips a day because they can’t figure out a way to stop the 3000(!) trip a day Amazon warehouse they weren’t ready for and are now scrambling to try and shrink/stop.

Sometimes Facebook brings out the worst version of people. Behind a screen, it’s easy to argue, judge, insult, and assume the worst. Then you run into those same people in real life, have an actual conversation, shake hands, laugh a little—and realize most people are a lot better humans than their Facebook comments make them seem. I can tell you I’m as guilty (or more) as the next. Yesterday Seth was the bigger man and stopped by to have a conversation. Turns out me and Seth have a lot more in common than I thought. I have huge respect for this dude for taking that step, because you just don’t see that anymore. We talked about Hollis, what we love about our town, and how we can both be better humans. This isn’t the last time we’ll see Seth. He has great things in the works, that will help this community and the future generations to come. What Seth did takes courage. Apparently you can order delivery through the online ordering part of our Toast website. It's all handled by UberEats, and completely automated... So if it takes forever to get to you, or s**t gets fu**ed up in transit, or if the delivery guy is a prick, let us know and we'll turn off that feature. For now we'll leave it and see how it goes. But we 100% need feedback from you to choose whether or not we continue with it.

Opening day today!!!!

Health inspector stopped by this morning to do a walk through. Passed with flying carpets. Love it when a local resident try’s to s**t talk local business on a community page anonymously. We’ll see you later today guys and gals!!!!!!

NEW SCHEDULE/HOURS

Tuesday Sept. 1st we make a very casual transition to expanded hours and days.

Tues-Fri 3pm-9pm

Expect it to be an absolute s**t show. You’ll be able to order online at www.HollisTommysPizza.com and I’m sure that’ part is gonna go about a horrible as you expect it to go. I also put in an order for “pre-portioned desserts” from Micucci and they sent some giant ass mud pies that are frozen. So that’s what you get this week for dessert if you order it. There will be some specials on the menu that will only be available to Hollis residents, so keep an eye out for that. All in all “please bear with us as we make this transition” is what normal companies say….. “better buckle the f up” seems more appropriate. See you soon.
