A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out for our Small Biz Mixer this past Sunday!✨

Kathleen and I came into this event not knowing what to expect as we flew by the seat of our pants, but we left with handfuls of input from our constituents, and massive amounts of support in making this event happen!

A few things we learned:
• Interest shown in making this event happen at least a few times a year
• Suggestion of a “Meet the Owners” night, where business owners volunteer to speak, tell their story, & answer questions from the public
• Set agenda with discussion points
• We got the names of a couple of people who we plan on reaching out to for our next meeting. They can help us make resources available for writing grants, community outreach, funding, etc.

I will post the names of those who joined us below, & try to tag everyone. Again, thank you SO much to everyone who had faith in this event, and offered us your time!
