We are so excited to announce our newest beer, Easy Peasy Eno Squeezy, a collaboration with the Eno River Association to celebrate their 60th Anniversary!
For 60 years, the has been protecting and conserving the natural, historical, and cultural resources of the Eno River Basin. Their efforts led to the creation of Eno River State Park, five riverfront parks, and the conservation of almost 9,000 acres of riverlands across Durham and Orange Counties. We have them to thank for the swimming holes, fishing spots, and trails that are synonymous with Hillsborough & Durham, and we couldn't be happier to collaborate with them in celebrating their many achievements over the years. Our brewery would not be here today were it not for the tireless efforts of GENERATIONS of conservationists protecting the wild spaces of the Eno River.
When planning this project, we thought of a Pilsner made with fresh lemon peel (and sweat equity from folks at the ERA) to evoke sun-dappled afternoons relaxing by our favorite river. Easy Peasy Eno Squeezy pours a clear straw color with rocky white head, aromas of warm lemon groves, and a sweet malt character reminiscent of lemon drops.
A portion of proceeds from draft sales of Easy Peasy Eno Squeezy will go to benefit our friends at the Eno River Association. They will also be out here tonight, August 28, from 5-7pm if you'd like to learn more about their work in conservation, so come thru!
