It was so good to be back together after last month’s ice-storm cancellation.

Tonight’s gathering began with a brief tribute to Michael Batts, whose untimely death (1/8/26) left a void as his banjo playing was a band favorite. RIP Michael.

Thanks to all who came out tonight. We will see you next month, 3/22 🍻 & 🎶

It’s with a broken heart and deep sympathy for Michael Batts’ family we share news of his death, Jan 8th. We lost not only an excellent musician (banjo, guitar, vocals), but a wonderful friend and brother in Christ. We will miss so many wonderful things about Michael, but personally I will miss him saying at the end of every gig, “I love you guys!” , I’d love to hear that again right now. And we know , on that day, we will hear it again, along with that wonderful cluck on his banjo.
