Late Night Lyrics began as several different shows including Cup of Serenity, 3rd Thursday at Boston's House of Jazz, 1st Friday in Winston Salem and an average of 16 different performances a month. In 2009, The Princess of Poetry was asked by Mike Boston to home the show at Boston's House of Jazz. 3rd Thursday with The Princess of Poetry ran there for a year and a half. The name was changed to L
ate Night Lyrics and the show stayed at Pillow Talk lounge for six months. This location proved to be too small after numbers inched towards 200 attendees. The show was able to move into a larger venue in the heart of downtown Greensboro in the entertainment district at Churchill's on Elm 213 S. Where it is currently held usually on the last Friday of each month. LATE NIGHT LYRICS is not just a poetry show but a support system to artists and a positive voice in the community through our community service and support of humanitarian causes. Our goal is showcase artists and their gifts to a diverse audience and support the artists with resources to enhance their career.
