So, for a while now I’ve known I needed to change my name. There’s an “Oracle Visuals Photography” that also operates around the state, and her work is amazing and I don’t want to step on her toes. After much soul searching and preparation, today is the day. Oracle Bo***ir is now Freya Bo***ir.
Freya is a Norse goddess of many things- wealth, fertility, victory in battle, s*x, and clairvoyance to name a few, but when you look deeper, it’s about much more than that. It’s about the healing that can happen when two people are truly intimate with one another. It’s about enjoying passion and lust and excitement as emotions that are completely natural and beautiful, and not feeling bad about it. It’s about loving yourself so deeply and unconditionally that it spreads to everyone around you..
(Also, I mean, we both have two cats.)
I think that’s just the right energy I want to bring with me in 2023. So, here we go~
Thank you Paige Winkle for letting me use your face for the new brand, thank you Kyle and Joel and Esther for encouraging me so much, thank you Brian for believing in me so strongly, and thank you to SO many other people who have been with me this whole way.
Here are some quotes about her that I really enjoy, from the blog “Silver and Gold:
Musings of a Vanic Priestess” by Cara Freyasdaughter (fb won't let me link to the wordpress blog because it thinks it's spam, but you can find her on google.)
“Freya is definitely the goddess of wild hot nasty s*x, sure–but She is just as much, if not more so, the goddess of emotional, transformational healing. Her method? Maybe it’s s*x, and maybe it’s just transformative intimate time spent with another being.”
“That’s another part of Her magic–knowing exactly what it is that each person needs, and being able to provide it. After all, what might heal one person could end up harming another person. Healing would be no good if it were ‘one size fits all’. Whatever method is used, from whomever it is given, intimacy is the key.”
“Hail Freya, Generous Giver
Who helps us to honor ourselves
Confidence-inspirer, value-reminder
Lady of self-worth and self-love!”
Hail Freya!
