Jacksonville Eagles Charity Tug of War Jacksonville Eagles FOE 1034 has organized a Charity Tug of War Event since 1980. Over 50K has been raised & donated over the years. Can't pay prior to?

The 1st and 2nd place winners donate proceeds to Charity or Organization of choice, teams may include all Men, all Women, or CO-Ed, we're not picky-it's all about the cause. Here's the details:
*SATURDAY SEPT 20th NOON @ JACKSONVILLE PARK
-FOOD
-BEER
-PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE, HAVING A GOOD TIME
-TEAMS OF 10 WITH 1 ALTERNATE, MUST WEIGH NO MORE THAN 2100LBS
-$100 PER TEAM, ($10 PER PERSON)
-KIDS CAN

JOIN AFTER THE COMPETITION
-18FT INFLATABLE WET SLIDE
-TROPHIES WILL BE AWARDED
-ENTERTAINMENT FOLLOWS AT JACKSONVILLE EAGLES 6PM
-CAMP IF YOU WANT! HOW TO REGISTER:
Complete the registration/liability waiver form, have "captain" of your team sign the "rules" and return completed form with 100$ entry fee to Jacksonville Eagles PO Box 157 Jacksonville Ohio, 45740. We don't care, just let us know! Forms are being sent out to local businesses, bars, ect. If you don't have one call us! 447-8080. REMEMBER: Anyone can come for a good time. Get a team and raise money for a cause

The weather looks good for the Tug! I can't figure out if the only 10% chance of rain makes me happy or sad?? lol If it cools off, our kids wet slide might turn into a dry slide or bouncy house. Remember to bring gloves, towels & extra clothes for the kids if needed!

Over 50k has been donated to local charities over the years by participants of the Tug of War. A little bit of competition, a lot of fun, ALL for a good cause.
A BIG THANK YOU goes to all who participated, volunteered, and attended last year to REVIVE this Charity Event-Jacksonville VFW, Sikorski's Home Plate, Murray City American Legion, McConnelsville Eagles, and Athens Bondo Club!
Hope to see you all again in about 6 weeks to make this event even bigger and better!

Getting to be that time of year again..3 more months & we will see who can hold the rope! Hope everyone makes it again this year. If anyone has any ideas and suggestions, feel free to comment. Looking forward to making this charity event bigger and better every year!

We'd like to give a special thanks to Abby Curry Hillyer for volunteering her time to take pictures for the Jacksonville Eagles Charity Tug of War. The pictures turned out great & we can't thank you enough for capturing the moments of the Tug! Also thanks again to all the rest of the volunteers and Ladies Auxiliary that made the event successful!!
