WHAT! JUNE ALREADY???
We will have a BRAND NEW SELECTION of meads at United Farmers Market of Maine this week. Two or our recent Golden Traditionals will be there - Lychee Blossom and Orange Blossom, as well as Lughnasea (honeyberries!) and Storm Currant (black currants).

Open year round, Saturdays from 9-2, at 18 Spring Street in Belfast, ME. Over 70 vendors in a beautiful coastal Maine town. Come see us - we'll show you the honey!

Two of our recent Golden Traditional series are now available at Bier Cellar Portland! These meads feature just Honey, nothing else. On the shelf now; Campanita Blossom and Orange Blossom Honey, both from Mexico.

Today… is May 31st. It is also the second Full Moon of the month. That makes it a BLUE Moon!
Earlier in Run Amok Mead‘s history (it was our 5th commercial batch) we made a batch of mead that we called Blue on Blue. It was blueberries fermented in blueberry blossom honey. 
Today we are reprising that mead - perhaps with a new twist on the name: Blue on Blue on Blue?
We’ll be building it today while we are also open in the tasting room from 12-5.
If you would like to see a working meadery at work, you should come by!

And so it begins. Warm the honey back to liquid. De-stem and then freeze some red seedless grapes. Then, on the new moon, this weekend, make a new mead! This will be a pyment - a mead made with grapes, fermented in a light local wildflower honey.
We will be open Sunday, and starting this New Moon batch. If you’re interested in seeing a working meadery actually working, come by! We are open 12-5. ❤️🍷🐝
