THE FREDERICK CHAPTER OF AWS IS A GROUP THAT ENJOYS AN INFORMAL GATHERING CENTERED ON SAMPLING WINES AND ENJOYING GOOD FOOD AND CONVERSATION. EACH PERSON PAYS THE COST OF HIS OR HER OWN TASTING AT EACH MEETING ( USUALLY $25-$30). Eligibility to Join: Anyone with an interest in wine, and a willingness to host a meeting every two years. Hosting entails providing a meeting place (usually the host's home), provide food, and provide 5 or 6 wines to try. Hosts are free to set the format of the tasting as formally or casually as preferred, with a theme or no theme.
