Hello Women Who Winers! So It's official, we are finally having another gathering after a nearly 7 months hiatus. Whew, time flies and we need to catch up on our lives while exploring wine. So the gathering will be this Saturday, Jan. 28th at my house at 2pm until whenever. The address is 9415 W. Antoinette Way. Do not use Google Maps-It'll lead you astray but MapQwest is accurate.
Essentially take Hwy 180 towards Snowbowl Road. Go one mile past Snowbowl road o Hwy 180 to Bader Rd and go Left. Take Bader all the way down to nearly te end and make a Right onto Suzette Lane. Go to the end of Suzette and make a left onto Chambers. From Chambers, make the first Right onto W. Antoinette Way. My house is 3/10th of a mile down on the left hand side. It's a large red-brown color house. My gold Toyota truck will be parked in the carport. Come inside the front door and then once in the large room, make you way to the right by the stacked wood and brown door (the one without glass).
The theme is...drum roll please...French Wines!!! Tada! It doesn't matter which varietal, just be a francophile for the day. Hug and kiss your local frenchie. World Market, The Wine Loft, Frys and Wine Styles all have french wines. I'm making a hearty veggie soup and there are rumors of crepes and beignets.
I hope everyone can make it, it's been so long since we've all been in the same place together. Please RSVP by Friday midday so I know how much soup to make.
