My dad ♡

Richmond-Roger Floyd Alexander, 76, died on December 23, 2021 at his home surrounded by family.
Roger was born in Cardiff, Wales on February 13, 1945 the son of Floyd and Sarah (Hooper) Alexander.
He was very proud to be an American. Roger arrived in the United States in 1984 and became a citizen in 1997.
Roger worked in sales most of his life. He later founded Alexander Auction Company and Ye Olde English Fish and Chips.
He enjoyed cooking, karaoke, poker, fishing, watching his grandkids, kitty cat, gardening, playing sports, and talking about his mates in Wales.
Roger was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Gabalfa Community Center, Gunners Gabalfa in Wales.
Roger was predeceased by his parents and daughters Claire Louise and Lisa. He survived by his wife Anne of 51 years, son’s Richard and wife Malayna of Florida, Ian and wife Karen of Richmond, Wayne and wife Kristy of Richmond, brothers Leonard, Collin, Malcolm, Gerald, sisters Janice, Trudy, Sallie, Gillian, Marianne, Shirley all of Wales, brothers Floyd, Brian, Lloyd, Billy, Aubrey, sisters Gloria, and Marsha all of the United States, his pride and joy grandkids Mariah, Kylee, Tasheka, Cole, Jaiden and Brady.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, December 29th from 11 to 1pm at the funeral home. A Funeral service will follow at 1pm. A reception immediately to follow at the American Legion Carding Machine Rd., Richmond.
In Roger’s memory donations may be made to CHANS Hospice 45 Baribeau Dr. Brunswick, me 04011.

Thursday morning at 12:45 am, 12/23/21 my father Roger Alexander took his last breath. He never gave up on anything in life and fought until his body couldn't fight anymore. My dad was the most patriotic American one will ever meet.
His wishes were to stay at home until the end, to be comfortable and not suffer, and be surrounded by all of his family. And we did it, just as he wanted and I know he knew we were all there. We talked, laughed, told stories, called his brothers and sister back home in Wales and they spoke to him while we held the phone to his ear, and sung to him all the way to the end. Deep down we know he could hear us.
Many thanks to all of our close friends, family, colleges, Richmond PD, Sagadahoc Sheriff's, Gardiner Rescue, Brunswick Fire Chaplin " Mark" Richmond Fire Chaplin, Hospice "Pete and Pam", Kincer Arrangements and everyone else who knew this was going to be the toughest day of our lives.
My dad will forever be my hero, my go to about sports, and the man who taught me more than he will ever know.
Dad this is not goodbye, this is I will see you again. I love you dad and we got it from here!
Richard, Ian and I will take care of mom always. My daughter's, my wife, my nephews, my brothers and their wives, please know I thank you for being there through everything, I couldn't do it without you all. Dad I will miss you and thanks for everything

Thanks for another great season of Christmas Trees and Wreaths. We are officially sold out of our 1,100 trees we ordered. Our new location at DNK Select was fabulous.
Thanks for all of our friends and family and customers that came out to see us, and who have supported us through the years. See everyone in 2021♡♡♡ Merry Christmas to all🌲🌲🌲

November 26th is approaching fast. Come see us at our new location DNK Used Cars in Farmingdale, only 1 mile from our old location. Trees from 2 feet to 10+ feet, wreaths, kissing balls, crosses and much more.
We open Thanksgiving Day at 8am. And will be open everyday after that from 8am to 9pm until we sell out.
