After drawing more than 1,600 attendees last year, the concert presentation of Jesus Christ Superstar is returning to Church of the Risen Savior and is quickly becoming an annual Holy Week tradition.

Very proud of the hubs who is not only the musical director, arranger, creator of visual media, producer and keys in the band but also sings the role of Caiaphus!

This powerful production will feature an eight-piece band, a 25-voice choir, and a talented cast of principal performers presenting the iconic rock opera in its entirety. Everyone has returned from last year’s incredible cast. I will be once again performing the role of Mary.

Good Friday – April 3 at 8:00 PM

1501 East County Road 42, Burnsville, MN 55306 (make sure you put “East” County Road 42 or you’ll end up on the wrong side of 35W)

Admission is free with no pre-registration required (a freewill offering will be welcomed). Seating in the sanctuary is first-come, first-served and holds approximately 1,000 guests, so attendees are encouraged to arrive early for the best seats.

Love this so much!! Had a fun photo shoot with these beauties. Apple Valley Apple Valley High School Theatre knows how to put on a show! Can’t wait to see the Dynamos and all the cast, crew and musicians killing it on stage in November!

Another great show with Soar Arts! Had the opportunity to design the makeup along with the wig for “Genie!” Love this theater company that gives the communities of Albertville/St. Michael these beautiful productions and the experience of theater for kids in 1st-8th grade.

Last week, a lovely woman booked a makeup lesson with me as a gift for her daughter who is a professional opera singer. Her daughter wanted to learn more basic makeup ideas and techniques as apposed to “stage makeup” (her opera company has a staff who actually does their makeup for performances!) I LOVE doing makeup lessons. I don’t sell product of any kind so I’m “selling” my knowledge of 20 years of technique, tips, tricks and my favorite products, which are not all from the same place. Many people ask me about lessons and I just haven’t really taken time to advertise them. They are on my website but I thought I would offer them up as a great way to start the “New Year, New You” idea!!

2 hours at my home or yours. We go through your makeup and figure out what should stay, what should go, show you how to use items you may have purchased and have no idea how to use and what few additional products you could purchase to make what you have work. You direct how the lesson goes based on what you want to learn. Questions you may have: How do I use brushes and what kind do you recommend, what kind of foundation is best for my skin, do I need foundation, what’s a “smokey eye” and how can I do that, how can I make my eyebrows look better, what’s the best way to put on false lashes, I want to look professional but not made up for my job/job interviews...and the list goes on. I’ll make a face chart for you so you have a “map” of what and where to apply what we talked about. You’ll also have a shopping list of where to get the items I recommend and a little touch up kit for your purse. Let me know if you have any questions. Appointments available daytimes and evenings.
