Congratulations to Eliza Primm!

She set the school record today with a 43 during the Mid Michigan Golf Conference event at Huron Breeze.

She needed a birdie on her final hole to do it. She pounded a 230 yard drive with a draw right down the middle of the fairway. Left only about 25 yards in. She had a beautiful pitch shot that hit the stick and dropped to about 30” from the cup. She made that putt to break her own school record that she set at the same course last year.

The team put up a very solid 224 with other notable scores including Gia Lesneski’s 58 and Olivia’s Hopkins’ 58.

The girls games’ are turning the corner at the right time. We are all looking forward to how these girls finish up this season in a couple weeks.

2026 Tawas Area Braves Girls Varsity Golf Team

What an amazing group of young women! We span from seasoned veterans to first time players. These girls are talented and looking to make some noise this postseason!

Beyond just the on-course stuff, this is a great group of young ladies. They are kind, coachable and have fun. It’s been a fun year so far, and we all look forward to the rest of the season!
