Junior Golf Camp at Red Hawk was awesome! 👏🏼

Nearly 30 kids of all ages came out for the 4 day camp where they learned the short game, full swing, rules and etiquette. We had daily competitions and played on the course the last day.

The camp MVP’s, as determined by who won the most competitions throughout the week, were Dawson and Grayson! Congratulations to everyone on a great week of fun and improvement. ⛳️

Great showing in the NSL championship for Tawas Golf! ⛳️

The boys lost in a heart breaker by just one stroke! Individually, Sophomore Ethan Daniels won the conference individually with a 77! Senior Captain Adam Billinghurst was also awarded first team all conference! Congratulations boys!

Also earlier in the week, the team put up a season best 328 and a second place finish at Bay Valley. Lead by medalists Sophomore Vance Spencer with a 77 and Daniels 78. Great week boys! 👏🏼

Adam is a great young man, and a personal pain in the butt favorite of Coach Paul! He has taken tremendous strides over the last 4 years and became a very formidable varsity golfer. He was First team all conference this year. You will be missed Adam!

Congratulations to our Senior Varsity Golfer, McKenzie Kinney! 🥳

Despite having never golfed until her junior year, McKenzie quickly became one of the best golfers in the region because of her work ethic, focus, and natural athleticism. She was first team all conference for her junior and senior year and she was the first ever Tawas Area Girls Varsity Golfer to qualify for the state finals. 👏🏼 Incredible two seasons for her!

McKenzie is an incredible young lady, best of luck next year at CMU! ❤️
