Opening day of strawberry 🍓 picking Greg's U-Pick Farm was a success! We obviously had to end our trip with a sweet treat!

Their fields open at 9:00am and the farm closes at 5:00pm Tuesday - Saturday and 3:00pm on Sunday.

Please visit their page or call them at 716-741-4239 for current picking conditions before heading out to the farm. Availability and weather can affect picking daily.

When our weekends include errands, we love to see what free little libraries are near us and make a stop! Did you know that there is a little free library app?? It makes finding registered charters SO easy! Happy Saturday! 📚

Strawberry 🍓 picking is getting closer!!

🗣️🍓Alright folks we have an opening day! Saturday June 13th we will open with ALREADY picked berries, biscuits, ice cream, our famous STRAWBERRY BLASTERS, and barn yard fun. Our U-Pick opening date is a day by day decision.

* Fields will closed 30 mins prior to closing
* Picking will close if supply is low or we have inclement weather. Check social media or call BEFORE heading to the farm.

🍓Picking pass is required for anyone entering the field. CSA members, season pass holders, and children 2 and under no pass needed

🍓 Season pass can be purchased online or here at the farm.

Splash pad season has finally arrived! What are some of your favorites??

The splash pad on Richmond Ave in Lancaster is always a hit! They have an accessible porta potty on site, a shelter with a couple picnic tables and more seating closer to the splash pad. Aside from the shelter, there is no other shade, so just something to keep in mind.

So exciting!! Strawberries 🍓 are coming!!

🍓🗣️Its everybody’s favorite time of year…STRAWBERRY SEASON!! We have been getting many messages asking when we are going to open. We are hoping to open the end of this week!!!!

🍓 We will post our opening date as soon as we know! It all depends on the weather for berry ripening. Be sure to follow our page and stay tuned!

While running errands yesterday, we stumbled upon the cutest playground in West Seneca! Fireman’s Park is located at 1190 East and West Rd. The playground has a rubber surface, a large climbing structure with two slides, swings and smaller play areas for younger kiddos.

In addition to the playground, the park also features a walking path (4/10th of a mile), restrooms, shelters (that can be rented online), ball diamonds, basketball courts, tennis courts and pickleball courts.

It’s gearing up to be a beautiful day to get out and play!

is a non profit that was founded in 1987. It is one of the largest raptor centers in the East and more than 80 resident animals call Hawk Creek home! Not to mention the grounds are beautiful! They have a trail with a kids play area, photo ops and so many cute things hidden amongst their landscaping.

Hawk Creek is open for visitation by appointment for private experiences and for their scheduled open house events only. They do not have daily “walk-in” hours. All of their upcoming events can be found on their website.
