Breakside turns sixteen today! It’s not a birthday ending in 5 or 0, we know, we know, but we can’t let the day pass without getting sentimental and reflecting on the lucky, fun, and unexpected times we’ve had.
It’s not lost on us for a second how lucky we are to have so many loyal customers and fans right here in our own backyard and across the globe; how lucky we are to have a staff of over 120 people who are so enthusiastic about sharing our food, beer, and hospitality; how lucky we are to have an army of pub owners, bar managers, and beer buyers who choose to serve and promote our beers; and how lucky we are to brew and sell beer alongside some of the greatest breweries in the world in the greatest region for beer in the world. We are so deeply grateful for all of this.
Conventional wisdom says that as breweries get bigger or older, they lose some of their flair and pizzazz. We’re here to make the full throated case that the opposite can be true; that the opposite is true for us. Breakside at 16 is the best we’ve ever been, and we have our staff and fans to thanks for letting us get better with time. Our team is on a hot streak right now. We’re brewing the best beer we ever have across a huge range of styles, and we’re doing it with more precision, expertise, and positive vibes than ever.
