When making cold process soap, the lye temperature (on left with turmeric to naturally color the soap) and the oils must be within 5 degrees of each other before I can combine and blend (sponification). I like to combine around 100 degrees.

I love this color. It’s naturally colored with turmeric. The scent is lemongrass and peppermint essential oils.

Stay Clean Cold Process/Prickly Pig Hot Process Soaps

I enjoy making soap. After many years not making soap, I have started again and am offering it for sale. I am not making artificially colored and fragranced soap. I am using organic oils when I can. I am avoiding palm oil since it is not always sustainably farmed. If scented, essential oils are used. If color is added, I am using spices, clays and natural colorants. I am making soap that I use and my family uses. Every bar may not be perfect looking, but know that it is hand crafted and made using good ingrediants that will help you Stay Clean.
