It’s Marisa’s birthday!! 🥳🥂🩷

If you’ve worked an event with Marisa, you already know she brings the perfect mix of experience, personality, and calm behind the bar. She’s been in the hospitality world for years, with a background spanning weddings and events, bartending, w**e tastings, and brand representation!

And somehow, bartending is just one piece of everything she does. Marisa holds a Master’s in Education and has spent her career working with students, first in special education and now as a school counselor, helping students navigate what comes next for them. 🤍

Outside of work, she’s happiest hiking around New Hampshire, practicing yoga, spending time with her family and dogs, or taking on her latest DIY or home renovation project.

We’re so happy Marisa is part of The Traveling Cocktail crew and hope she gets to spend today doing all of her favorite things, preferably with a cocktail involved. 🍸

Happy Birthday to one of our girls, Melissa! 🩷🥂

By day, she’s a badass science teacher who knows her way around a chemistry lab… and by night, she trades the beakers for cocktail shakers. 🧪🍸

Melissa is creative, crafty, and has a serious talent for putting together the most beautiful setups. She’s incredibly friendly, amazing with people, and brings such a fun, positive energy to every event she works.

And her knowledge goes far beyond our bar! Melissa also works tastings for different liquor brands and breweries, so she has an incredible knowledge of spirits, w**e, and all things behind the bar. Basically, whether we’re talking chemistry or cocktails, she knows her stuff. 😂🍷🧪

When she’s not teaching, bartending, or out working a tasting, you can probably find her adding another Stanley cup to her collection, surrounded by something pink, and listening to Taylor Swift. 🩷✨

We are so grateful to have Melissa as part of The Traveling Cocktail team and appreciate all of the creativity, knowledge, care, and personality she brings with her.

Two years. 🥹🥂

What started as me not wanting to leave my newborn daughter to go work for someone else turned into something I could have never imagined.

We started with one 6-foot bar and a dream. Since then, we’ve renovated a horse trailer into a bar, obtained our liquor and food licenses, become preferred vendors at multiple wedding venues, won Best of NH Editor’s Pick, been featured in NH Bride Magazine and multiple news articles, granted a wish with Wish Upon a Wedding, and grown into a team of six incredible bartenders that can now serve multiple events in a single day.

But behind all of those accomplishments was a lot of sacrifice.

There were so many hours spent on my laptop instead of with my kids, weekends away from them, and moments of wondering if I was being a bad mom while fighting so hard to build something that would ultimately give our family more.

And somehow, it all turned into a brand that people know and trust. That means more to me than I can put into words.

As this wedding season comes to an end, we’ll have celebrated 30 weddings this year alone, along with so many other incredible events.

To my team, our couples, our clients, the venues that recommend us, and every single person who has supported this little business of mine… THANK YOU 🤍

It has been an absolute honor to be trusted with some of the most important days of your lives.
