Ive been meaning to share this article for awhile. It dosent go into specifics about what a developer should do, instead it outlines theories. Either way it is something that we should consider when developing apps.

Here are five principles that developers should keep in mind to create more secure apps

To say that Washington, D.C. has a lot of history would be an understatement. But you probably don't know much about the Washington Metro's area contribution to American culture. Mr. Beck has compiled an amazing summary of the areas rich history enough to satisfy any historian or beer drinker.

When I decided to learn the first thing I did was an online search for options. And wow the options for learning a language was overwhelming with programs ranging in prices and duration. In the end, I decided to try Codecademy and SoloLean. Check out my review to learn more about my experience.

A review of using the mobile app SoloLearn and the desktop platform Codeacademy to learn the basics of Python programming.

Often enough, Wilkesโ€™s code didnโ€™t produce the result she wanted. So she had to pore over her lines of code, trying to deduce her mistake, stepping through each line in her head and envisioning how the machine would execute it โ€” turning her mind, as it were, into the computer. Then she would rewrite the program. The capacity of most computers at the time was quite limited; the IBM 704 could handle only about 4,000 โ€œwordsโ€ of code in its memory. A good programmer was concise and elegant and never wasted a word. They were poets of bits. โ€œIt was like working logic puzzles โ€” big, complicated logic puzzles,โ€ Wilkes says. โ€œI still have a very picky, precise mind, to a fault. I notice pictures that are crooked on the wall.โ€

Computer programming once had much better gender balance than it does today. What went wrong?
