Nobody chooses the hard season.
Nobody volunteers for the painful chapter. Nobody signs up for the trial that strips everything comfortable away and leaves them standing with less than they started with.
But the people who walk through genuine difficulty with God and come out the other side are always fundamentally different from who they were when they went in.
There is a depth to them that was not there before. A steadiness that comfort never produces. A faith that cannot be shaken because it has already been tested at levels most people never experience. A compassion for others that only comes from personal suffering.
God is not putting you through this for no reason.
He is building something inside you that this world cannot produce any other way. Something that will last long after this painful season becomes a memory.
The trial is not destroying you. It is developing you into someone capable of carrying what is coming.
