Challenge Your Senses! Cellar Sensations Wine Club is a joint venture of Daren & Mari Beth Baumberger. We will meet you where you are at on your wine journey.

We live on a farm near Dell Rapids, SD and we enjoy wine and love educating others about wine. Our goal is to gain your trust to select wines for you on a monthly basis. Our club is about fun, learning and finding quality wines at a value! Our wine club pick up will be the last Thursday of each month from 3-6pm at The Local in Dell Rapids, SD. Mari Beth has been a long time wine lover and was recr

uited into the industry by the South Dakota Department of Agriculture to manage a Wine Pavilion at the State Fair to promote SD wines as well as local breweries and specialty foods. She then sold wines from across the country and around the world employed by a wine and spirits distributor where she worked with retail and restaurant customers. For the past 10 years Mari Beth was a regional manager for Riedel Crystal of America and during that tenure oversaw sales to over 30 US states and several Provences of Canada. During her travels she continued her own wine experiences and increased knowledge. She is ready to find great wines for the members of Cellar Sensations! Daren is at Mari Beth's side in life and in love of wine. His wine interest was born several years ago during a trip to the Napa Valley of California. He enjoys many types of wine but his favorite is Pinot Noir! Daren has traveled with Mari Beth to many wine regions as well as experiencing great food and wine dining locally and on trips. He will assist Mari Beth in wine selection for the various levels of Cellar Sensations Wine Club! We invite you to join us as we Challenge Our Senses!

Tomorrow - Thursday July 31st is our wine club pick up at The Local in Dell Rapids from 3-6pm! All are welcome to sip & shop!

Zonin Lemon Spritz - 750ml bottles & single serving bottles for sale
(So popular over Quarry Days we wanted you all to taste it!)
Bonny Doon Picpoul
(Only 3 bottles left - a fun dry white wine from a little known grape that is as fun to say as it is to drink)
QSS Rare Tinto Red
(A Portugese red blend is a steal of a deal and QSS helps support endangered species such as the Lynx featured on the label)

It’s Quarry Days this weekend in Dell Rapids with the parade tomorrow so we decided to pour some Sensational Summer Sips! Join us Saturday from 11am - 1pm at The Local for free wine tasting, glasses of wine for $5 and bottles for sale at great prices! Which will be most popular?? Lemon Spritz, Sangria or Rose’? Hey wine lovers! We are happy to be part of this event at The Local tomorrow! We will be sampling 3 wines free to shoppers and class attendees from 5-6pm. We will have wine by the glass for $5 and bottles of wine for $15 which can be enjoyed during class or to take home. BTW it’s not too late to join wine club for April - memberships start at $29/month for 2 bottles.

Take the Mimosa Challenge tomorrow Thursday 3/27 from 3-6pm at The Local in Dell Rapids, SD. Members & non members are invited to taste classic & pineapple mimosa side by side and choose their favorite! Both bottles available for purchase while supplies last. We will be sampling 4 additional wines all for sale. Member pick up will be taking place and we still have room for new members! BTW we have reduced the price on our Sweet Sensations Membership to $29/month for 2 bottles of sweet wine! Looking forward to greeting you all & toasting some sensational sips!

We are EXCITED to share Cellar Sensations “Hot To Trot” wine for our February wine club pick up this Thursday 2/27 at The Local from 3-6pm!! We have a steal of a deal on a limited number of bottles of St Francis Sauv Blanc. We tasted it and this 2021 vintage is drinking fresh with bright fruit so we bought every bottle our distributor had! Retail is usually around $18 but we have it at $9 for club members and $12 for non club members while supplies last!
