The York County Corvette Club (PA) recently purchased two (2) “Corvettes” that were donated to the WellSpan York Hospital. These cool rides will be available to kids to take them from their hospital room to the operating room. The staff at York Hospital were thrilled to receive these unique gifts!! It is our hope that these Corvettes will soothe the child’s nerves and bring them some smiles if only temporary as they head to their procedure. The cars can be controlled by the child and also has a remote that a nurse or doctor can control. A big thank you to Steve Vrabel and Andy Luckenbaugh for their assistance in putting this program together. Another thank you to Steve, Andy, Jeff Foust, and YCCC Vice-President Luke Simpson for being on hand to deliver the cars to the hospital. This is just another way that YCCC gives back to the community!
