Mother Nature wins this round! 🌧️

We had hoped to brave the weather and open the Depot today, but after reconsidering, we decided that all this wind and rain might make for a less-than-comfortable visit for our customers.

We apologize for the change of plans and appreciate your understanding. We’ll see you next week! In the meantime, cross your fingers for some beautiful, sunny fall weather in Crown King. We could all use a little sunshine!

Last Tuesday, we had the pleasure of hosting the Copperstate Overland group for a private pizza luncheon at the Depot! We loved seeing all the amazing vintage vehicles (1979 and older), and the video really captured the fun!

Thinking about bringing your group up to Crown King for a special gathering or private event? We’d love to host you and show you our beautiful little town.

From private luncheons to group get-togethers, let’s make it happen! Send us a PM for menu options and pricing.

Calling all brave souls willing to come on up despite what Mother Nature has in her forecast! Crown King welcomes you for a memorable Halloween weekend!

As always, the Crown King Saloon & Eatery will be hosting its infamous Halloween Party and Costume Contest. And when those spooky festivities wind down, the celebration moves down the street to the Depot on Sunday, November 1, with our special Día de los Mu***os celebration — honoring and remembering those we’ve loved and lost.

Join us Sunday morning for our legendary Breakfast Pizza from 9–11 AM, then stick around from 11 AM–4 PM for plenty of south-of-the-border food and drink specials!

So grab your costumes, bring your adventurous spirit, and make the trip up the mountain. A little weather never scared a Crown King crowd!

Tomorrow, October 27, we are delighted to host a private luncheon for Copperstate Overland during their 2026 driving adventure for vintage off-road vehicles 1979 or older. They'll be rolling in starting around noon and throughout the afternoon before heading down to Bumblebee for some glamping. Come down for a glimpse of these beauties. In case you didn't know, the Crown King Depot is always happy to host your private party or event!

After a wild week of hail, high winds, tornadoes, and power outages, we’re ready to welcome you back tonight! Our lovely Conductor Shelley will be manning the station this weekend, and we’d love to see you.

Tonight: The bar will be open, but our kitchen will be taking a night off.

Tomorrow: We’re back in full swing with our complete menu, starting with breakfast at 9 AM and FREE hot coffee!

Thanks for riding out the storm with us. We’ll see you at the Depot!

What a weekend at the Depot! Great chili at the Saloon, a big congratulations to the People’s Choice winners, The Misfits, and a warm welcome back to our friends from crownpublichouse. We got to sit back and watch the rain roll in over our little mountain town.

We’re cozy, toasty, and OPEN until 3 PM, serving up our delicious flatbread pizzas!

Cool mountain nights, a crackling fire, and gooey s’mores… now THAT’S what we call a perfect evening!

Come on up to the Crown King Depot for great food, cold drinks, and good company. Then grab a s’mores kit, head over to the burn barrel, and toast up the perfect combination of golden marshmallow, melted Hershey’s chocolate, and graham crackers.

We’ll save you a spot by the fire! And don't forget to swing by the crownkingsaloon to check out the chili tomorrow!

Let's talk Burn Barrels! We were so lucky to meet the talented John and Allison Burns during one of our Crown King Depot "soft openings!" We invited them up, gave them the history tour, and a friendship was made. Turns out they make the most amazing Burn Barrels, and here they are, merrily burning at the Depot on a cool fall night, just waiting to toast a marshmallow to a golden (or burnt) crisp and slide between graham crackers and a Hershey bar. Interested in a custom burn barrel (holidays fast approaching)??? PM me for the artist's contact info. Interested in a s'more: well, folks, they are now on the menu at the Crown King Depot for our crisp fall nights.
