Harry Tracy was not just another outlaw story. He was Northwest Colorado’s, and arguably the nation’s, most exceptional outlaw.

Join us tonight for History Night as Paul Knowles, Assistant Director of the , brings Tracy’s story to life through a visual presentation covering his jaw dropping exploits, including the ones that happened right here in our backyard.

This is the man who sparked one of the largest manhunts in U.S. history. A 1902 newspaper claimed Jesse James looked like a Sunday school teacher in comparison. Charming when it suited him. Ruthless when it didn’t. Always one step ahead… until he wasn’t.

We’ll be pouring a taste of Harry Tracy Rye with A blend with a little heat, a little smoothness, and a finish that will remind you how the story ends.

Pinch of salt

Apricot Smash

0.75 oz apricot preserves
0.5 oz lemon juice
Mint + splash of soda

1 oz Josie’s Garden Gin
0.5 oz lemon juice
0.5 oz simple syrup
Top with sparkling wine

Brown’s Park Spritz
1.5 oz Josie’s Garden Gin
1 oz elderflower liqueur
2 oz soda water

Why Harry Tracy is not remembered as the most notorious outlaw of the American West is difficult to explain. His story, when laid out plainly, reads like fiction, yet every part of it is documented. Escape followed by murder. Capture followed by escape. Prison walls scaled under gunfire. Posses outmatched again and again by a man who seemed to survive situations no one else could.

Harry Tracy was not part of the Wild Bunch, despite being occasionally grouped there in later retellings. He didn’t operate within a network or ride with a crew. His story stands on its own, and it is stranger for it.

Harry Tracy made his name on the run across the Northwest, known for bold escapes, sharp instincts, and a reputation that followed him across state lines. Some called him dangerous. Others called him legendary. Either way, his story stuck.

So we bottled it.

Harry Tracy Rye is our nod to that same untamed edge, a spirit with a little bite, a little spice, and just enough smoothness to keep you coming back. It’s bold without asking permission, and best enjoyed with a story worth telling.
