Today, we’re blending up one of our favorite Italian white wine varieties (Pecorino!) from one of our favorite producers .vini of Italy’s Abruzzo region 🌊
Your ingredients? 🍋🍊🌿
✨ California Meyer lemon
✨ A handful of mandarin orange slices
✨ Freshly picked basil
✨ A few sprigs of rosemary
✨ Lemongrass & a pinch of sea salt

Toss it all into Vinya’s magical blender and… Ecco! 🪄— Ciavolich Pecorino “Aries. Textural, vividly aromatic, herbaceous in a good way, sunshine citrusy, and unmistakably Adriatic!

Come on over next Wednesday and “Share a Cocktail With” Miami local Sofi Smith, owner of Cocuy La Capilla.

Made from 100% wild agave in Lara, a dry, mountainous state in northwestern Venezuela, La Capilla is softly smoky, exotically green, and earthy — landing somewhere happily between tequila and mezcal but uniquely Venezuelan!
•
We’ll taste it in its purest form, then shake things up with complimentary Mini Cocuy-ritas.
That’s koh-KOO-ee-rita!!! Now, say that ten times fast 😉

It’s hard to believe Maggie has been with us for four years.

Even harder to believe? She commutes to Wine Island all the way from Homestead (that is commitment!) In addition to bartending, serving, & supervising, Maggie is also one of our retail specialists.

Uh, Swiss Army Knife? Over the years, we’ve watched her wine and spirits knowledge evolve tremendously, and nothing makes us happier than seeing that kind of growth.

Meet Ana Maria & Juan — our favorite sibling duo on Wine Island. 🍷❤️

Ana Maria and Juan have joined us on both of our Vinya Wine x Heathen Wine Tours, starting with Piedmont in 2024! And for five years and counting, they’ve shown up for countless dinners, many in-store tastings, and, of course, our crazy wonderful adventures abroad!
They’re more than guests to us. They’re part of the Vinya family.
