Even though quarantine has been lifted, Stop and Shop still will only let you bring back 2 bags at a time. I’ve seen and met some of you in town already (mostly in that Stop and Shop line😉.)

If you’re interested in recycling and not so interested in getting the bottle deposits, we’re collecting bottles and cans at 452 Amston Rd “the Colchester Community Bottle Depot.” 😁

With the Colchester Community Bottle Depot, you can be confident your returnables will be recycled and won’t end up in a landfill.

WHY?
Being out of work in this COVID time is financially petrifying. Returning the bottles and cans in bulk provides enough money to make some ends meet. Hopefully this can be a mutually beneficial service; you get to get rid of your returnables and we get a way to pay a monthly bill.

Perhaps you’ve noticed, bottle redemption centers have either been closed or have placed significant restrictions on WHAT you can return, WHEN you can return it, and LIMIT HOW MANY you can return at a time.
