As craft beer drinkers start to rediscover and appreciate the classic styles that started it all, we decided to go back to the beginning and brew the timeless American Pale Ale. Hoppy yet balanced, malty yet light and eminently drinkable. Brewed primarily with Michigan grown Comet hops plus a bit of Chinook and Centennial. ☄️ 🍺 🌲 Enjoy!

We are releasing some very special meads today for the serious mead lovers out there!

Fantasy - Raspberry Cherry Mead aged in American Oak - one our most celebrated and certainly most decadent meads returns! Several years of bad growing conditions due to drought and wildfire in the PNW severely affected raspberry growing for the last few years. We are excited to share this excellent new batch with you!

2019 Metropolis Reserve - Blueberry Black Currant Apple Mead w/ spices aged in Bourbon Barrels - we believe this to be one of the best meads we’ve made in our 11 year history and it has only gotten better with patient aging. This is the very last bottling and it could be many years before we ever seen this one again.

2020 Ohio Gold Reserve - All Ohio Apple Mead aged in Bourbon Barrels - this is one of the most nuanced, dry and austere meads we have made. Don’t expect big honey and apple flavors,this mead is more for fans of dry sherry or delicate natural wines.

So exciting to hear about and see the revolutionary way they are caring for animals and thinking about the future! Huge thanks to Carly and all the keepers for their enthusiasm and time!

On tap today in Cleveland Heights and Craft Collective (Lakewood very soon!) is Saving Species Saison, a beer to benefit the Cleveland Zoological Society! A dollar from every beer poured will go towards their mission of world class animal care, international conservation and science education. We were thrilled to be asked to work with them and love how this beer turned out.

Saving Species Saison pours the color of pale straw and has an inviting aroma of soft citrus and fresh herbs. The taste is dry and refreshingly bitter and there is a delicate floral finish. For fans of Boulevard Tank 7, Duvel

If it’s been a while or you’ve never been, fall is the perfect time to visit the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo!
