I'm Retiring ! After 20 years of growing grapes and 9 years selling wine it's time to spend a summer without having to be in the vineyard every day ( what wine is left is out in the stores ). Our four kids ( my labor ) grew up working in the vineyard, it taught them a great work ethic but none of them wanted to take it over. Our goal was always to make the best wine possible out of our own Wisconsin grapes. We grew our grapes organically, used little to no chemicals in the winemaking process, and only used stainless steel or Wisconsin Oak Barrels for processing and aging. The results were a number of medals in California wine competitions, including a Gold Medal (91 score) for our 2013 Marquette. We have made a final extra Susan's Red donation of $1000 to be split between The Women's Heart Foundation and St. Joseph Food Program. Thank You to everyone who purchased wine over the years and please support Wisconsin Wineries that actually make wine out of Wisconsin fruit, there are far fewer of them than you would think. Ed.
