The sun rises on another beautiful 3 day weekend of competition at Maryland International Raceway, and here is the current points battle for the 2025 No Limit Promotions King of the Creek Series, by the end of this weekend we will have new Kings (or Queens) of the Creek.
For Star Machine Top ET, Corey Maloney stands as our current King with 190 points with zero final round appearances. He was the most consistent driver of the weekend going deep every day, keeping all of our finalists behind him in the standings. Anthony Whelan has second place with 181 with a $25K victory. Scott Albrecht and Pat Estevez are sharing the number 3 position with 171 points - both claiming big checks respectfully. Then there is a multi-way tie for 4th with Jason Hoff, Danny Mattera, Jamie Freeman, Kris Bunch and Severn Johnson with 170 points. To round out the top 5, Thomas Brown and Nathan Tanner each have 160 points.
In Ultra Trailer Sales Bottom Bulb, Joe Goldey is currently reigning with 171 points courtesy of his $5K win. Behind him with 160 points are Nick Bowman and Brian German. In third with 151 points is AJ Jenkins. Fourth is a 3-way tie with Jake Milstead, Jason Parker, and Steve Cross Sr with 140 points. Fourth place is held by John Mattera with 131 points, and Brian Mclaughlin is rounding out the top 5 with 130 points.
Friday we had $25K to win in Star Machine Top E.T., and $2K to win in Ultra Trailer Sales Footbrake. In the $25K Star Machine Top E.T quarterfinals we saw Mike Dilorenzo punch his semi-finals ticket virtue of bye run. Jason Hoff faced off against Marty Dabney, Hoff is .002 to be .021 above his dial in, Dabney is behind at the start and does not see a win light in his lane.
Bob Murphy won his pair against Ricky Nelson in the double break out pass. The semi-final round bye run went to Jason Hoff, Mike Dilorenzo has lane choice over Bob Murphy. Dilorenzo is .005 total to Murphy’s .013 reaction time, Murphy is mathematically ineligible. Final round action saw Mike Dilorenzo and Jason Hoff do battle for the $25K winner purse on day 1. Dilorenzo is dialed in 5.79 to Hoff’s 4.34, on the let go Dilorenzo is .000 to Hoff’s .019. Dilorenzo takes .0288 to be .001 TOTAL to grab the purse on day 1 of the No Limit Promotions Fall King of the Creek.
In the $2K Ultra Trailer Sales Footbrake quarterfinals we saw Ryan Burdett and Peter Kivett face off, Burdett kicked it .003 red to send Kivett to the semi-finals. Tom Giles squared off against Brian Mclaughlin, Giles is .034 dead 3 on the dial in for the win. Ross Freeman and Cobi Toliver were the final pair, Toliver is .021 take .015 to be .018 above his dial in for the win. Semi final action saw Cobi Toliver punch his ticket to the final courtesy of the bye run. Kivett staged up against Giles, GIles is in full control from the hit .010 up front and .032 over his dial in punches the ticket to the finals, Kivett missed the tree and it was over from the start. The final round saw Cobi Tolliver face of against Tom Giles in an almost heads up race, Toliver kicked it .003 red handing the win light to Tom Giles claiming our first footbrake check of the weekend.
