SO, colleges can now pay student athletes. I wonder if there is a similar benefit to those with a high academic record??

If not, we are further diminishing academics.

Started my NC wine discovery with friend Leigh. Traveled to the Yadkin Valley and tasted at Shelton Vineyards and Stony Knoll Vineyards. NC wines are coming right along! Vines are now about 11 years old and producing more complex fruit! As soon as I can make myself focus, I will be creating video blogs so you will have a peek before you make the trip to your destinations!

Springtime! What wine comes to mind? Sauvignon Blanc - it's grassy, crisp nose and citrus flavor remind me of crisp breezes and sunny days! It is a perfect complement to almost any spring menu.

I picked up a wine recipe book just for the fun of it. Did you know you can make carrot wine? And Onion Wine?? Onion wine is supposed to make a great marinade too. Making your own wine is gaining popularity all over the US. Just based on my experience in making wine vinegar, it's amazing and fun!
