Barley Market Bottle Shop and Tasting Room is Cornelius' one-stop-shop for exceptional craft beer, wine, and spirits. Our vision is to create a friendly neighborhood gathering spot where you can sip a pint at the bar with friends, peruse our shelves to create the perfect mix-n-match six-pack to take home, find the perfect wine for your next get-together, or discover your passion for high-end bourbon. Located in the heart of old Cornelius, our Tasting Room features more than 50 beers that have been thoughtfully selected, meticulously rotated and properly stored to maintain the freshest selection of beer in the region. With 16 rotating taps, we feature the best of our North Carolina regional beers as well as brews from your favorite national breweries.

The Brewers Association’s first-half numbers are ugly if you live in the retail space. Off-premise craft is down more than 5%, and the aisle is taking it worse than the bar. That is where Barley has an advantage those numbers do not give a grocery door: 16 taps and a room people still sit in, not just a wall waiting for a six-pack to turn.

The scanner and the tap are not the same business this year, and we already run both. Not to mention the importance of the Bartender offering you the 2nd round of something new to try.
