Being a parent is the hardest most rewarding job one will ever have. We are responsible for creating a whole, functional, kind human being in a stressful and some times limitedly resourced environments. As a result of that stress we can be short and extra "direct" when speaking to our children. The challenge our children face is being able to effectively communicate and receive communication outside our homes. Teachers and caring adults cannot say what is said at home to get the same results. Please be mindful of how we prepare to send our sons and daughters out to navigate in the world.
