3rd Saturday Paint Out today, August 17, 2024, Watt Avenue Access American Parkway. We painted here before the Corps of Engineers closes it of for erosion control. Showing is one my 2 plein air watercolors. 6 other artists painted the trees much better than me. https://www.americanrivertrees.org

Call to Artists - 2024 Spring Gala and Art Auction
Effie Yeaw Nature Center seeks artists to donate art for the 2024 Spring Gala and Auction. Submit artwork to be considered to be auction at the Spring Gala and Art Auction June 9, 2024. It will be juried for acceptance. Email your donation to David Peterson, by April 20, 2024. You will be notified of acceptance by April 24. Deliver accepted art to Sacramento Fine Arts Center April 30 for a preview exhibit.

Spring Art Gala - Sunday, June 11 | 5:00pm – 8pm
This elegant event, presented by the Effie Yeaw Nature Center features live music, a raffle and silent and live auctions of fine art and unique experiences. The Gala brings together art patrons, philanthropists, artists and nature-lovers for what has become the most important fundraiser of the year for the Effie Yeaw Nature Center.

Come see "Scenery of parkway" by AnniePeony Zhang in Art Where Wild Things Are, on display at the Sac Fine Arts Center until May 28th.

All art work is reserved to be sold at the online and live events. Sixty percent or more of the sale price benefits the Effie Yeaw Nature Center.

The art will be displayed at the Effie Yeaw Nature Center at the Spring Gala and Auction, June 5, 2022. All the paintings will be sold at online silent and live auctions by Effie Yeaw Nature Center.
